Description
This free event will introduce children and their adult chaperones to the goals and practices of nature journaling based on the books of John Muir Laws. You will begin with an indoor introduction and prompt, followed by outdoor journaling time, and, then come back together to share discoveries and interests with the rest of the group.
They recommend you bring a blank notebook or journal with you. They will have paper and writing supplies for those that arrive without. This workshop is geared to children and youth 7 -14 years old. Children aged 7-11 must be accompanied by an adult. Over 11 years will need a waiver. Please dress for the weather. The workshop will start in the Sharp Cabin and signs will be posted.
